Old Believer Monks Need Your temporal and spiritual Help
Dear in Christ: We Old believer monks of ND need your help. At present, we both await to receive SSI. Father Matthew has had two heart attacks, and myself, Fr. John have leaky valve and both of us do not have hospitilization. We seek someone who reads this, who is Orthodox, to email us and let us know they will help us create a website (not a Blog as you are presently reading.) We need to create a e store and someone to help us by telling us where we can buy wholesale lestovkas, incense, holy icons so we may sell on our website to be self sufficient......
We did have help from our former Archbishop and our congregations, but we have left our former Bishop (not Archbishop's fault) due to ecumenism of a monk we did not approve of, and thus we are not with him, though we do love and respect our former Hierarch.....in essence, we are two monks living on 7O acres in nd WITHOUT ANY FINANCIAL SUPPORT....just recently some are starting to send donations until we can become self sufficient..and as we await for SSI, which can take up to 2-3 years in some cases to get..so we need your financial and prayerful support...we do accept donations, all monasteries and all , if not most jurisdictions of orthodoxy on their websites have a "donation" button, we also must rely on the charity of others right now, and beg...we have no other choice. We are not with Russian Orthodox Church outside of Russia...however, Bishop Daniel of Erie , Pa. and Fr. Theodore Jurewicz, parish priest of old believers in Erie know we are Old Believer Monks and knows our former Archbishop Sofrony ....we did receive donation from them of Erie, to help bury one of our monks: Fr. Josif. May His Memory bE Eternal. The Old believers have been lifted of any anathamas by ROCOR and MP and other Jurisdictions...we are in the Church...so please, we are desperate and if we do not get help soon, we will take our animals to no kill shelter and we ourselves will be like Katrina Victims...Please, for the love you bear our Lord Isus Christ and His all Pure Mother and Holy Orthodoxy, come to our aid, we beg you.
